FAQs
Questions teams ask before hiring us
Why hire an agency instead of a freelancer for Sanity and Next.js?
Clients pick Roboto Studio over a freelancer for trust and reliability. The companies we work with are usually too big to rest their website on one person, so a typical project has about 5 people on it. We're also one of 15 starred partners in Sanity's 218-agency directory.
How big is a typical Roboto project team?
About 5 people work on a typical Roboto Studio project. The team is a mix of a project manager, designers, and front-end and back-end developers.
Who is Roboto Studio a good fit for?
Roboto Studio is a good fit for ambitious teams that want their website to keep getting better after launch. Most of our clients are established companies moving onto Sanity and Next.js. They want their marketing team to publish pages without waiting on a developer, and they want to keep their SEO through the move. If your team isn't ambitious about its website, we're probably not the right partner.
What happens after launch?
Almost all of our clients stay on a retainer for at least a while after launch, for new pages, performance work and AI search reporting. Your team gets a training session before launch. You own the code and the accounts at the end, so you're never dependent on us.
Do you work with US companies?
Yes. Roboto Studio is US-based and works US hours, and most of our clients are American companies. We work with your team in a shared Slack channel and reply fast there.
Who have you worked with?
Roboto Studio has worked with GC AI, Warner Bros, Discovery, Tray.ai, Mario Testino and Chelsea Piers. You can read about the Tray.ai and Mario Testino projects in our case studies.

Building workflows that work
We use only one meta-framework to manage our websites and web applications for a reason. It works, it scales fantastically, and there's no better combination for building the modern web.
